Joanna Mietlińska completes a new visit to the lab

Joanna Mietlińska-Sauter from the University of Lodz (Poland) has recently completed another visit to the lab. It has been a pleasure to have her back!

Joanna first visited the lab last year, when she carried out a 3D geometric morphometric study of human vertebrae in archaeological samples. That very productive stay has now led to a manuscript currently under review (you can read more about her previous visit in our earlier news item).

During this visit, she continued working on vertebral shape in archaeological samples, exploring further aspects of (pathological) variation and building on our ongoing collaboration.

It is always great to have Joanna in the lab, both for the research and for the chance to exchange ideas. We look forward to continuing our work together and hopefully welcoming her back again!
