Organising symposium on modern systematics at next SIBE congress

Carmelo is organising – together with Andrea Luchetti (University of Bologna) – a symposium for the next meeting of the Italian Society for Evolutionary Biology (SIBE/ISEB).

The meeting will be held this year in beautiful Naples, from September 8th to 11th. You can read more about the meeting on its official website, where you can also find the complete list of symposia which have been selected.

Our symposium’s title is “Modern systematics: improving the way biodiversity is captured, explored and understood” and focuses on topics such as taxonomy and trait evolution (the full description of the symposium is available on the official website). Our invited speaker is are Daniele Silvestro (University of Fribourg, Switzerland).
