New edition of Carmelo’s Physalia courses

New edition of Carmelo’s Physalia courses

15 Oct 2025

The dates of the new edition of the two companion courses Carmelo will be teaching online for the company Physalia Courses have been announced:

  • Foundations of geometric morphometrics (3-5 February 2026) – a 3-day course designed for beginners, covering essential topics such as acquiring 2D and 3D geometric morphometric data, experimental design, data quality, and data manipulation (e.g., through generalized Procrustes analysis). This course will provide a solid foundation, with a limited focus on downstream data analyses.
  • Multidimensional phenotypic evolution (2-6 March 2026) – a 5-day course aimed at both beginners and intermediate users, focusing on downstream analyses to interpret variation in multidimensional traits. Building on previous editions of the Geometric Morphometrics course, this course will cover analytical techniques for multidimensional traits, catering to researchers interested in both geometric morphometric data and other multidimensional phenotypes (e.g., traditional morphometrics, gene expression).

Physalia Courses also offers discounts for participants who enroll in both courses.
